Regarding donations to promote a diverse research environment
Project to realize a diverse campus for female students, female researchers, etc.
In December 2021, our university published a "Declaration for Promoting Diversity and Inclusion," and in July 2023, we formulated and published "HU Vision 2030." Based on these, our university is striving to realize a bias-free campus that overcomes unconscious discrimination and prejudice. Furthermore, we are promoting further awareness reform and environmental improvements with the aim of protecting the dignity of all members, enabling each individual to take pride in themselves and challenge their own potential. One of the important elements of this is promoting the advancement of women, but currently, the ratio of female researchers and female students is lower than the standards that our university aims for.
While government subsidies to universities are decreasing year by year, our university is making every effort to support the activities of female students and female researchers, including increasing the budget for such support. However, it is still not enough to provide support tailored to the individual circumstances of each person.

Use of funds
- This fund will be used to support female graduate students at our university by providing assistance with overseas travel expenses related to research activities, such as presenting at academic conferences.
- As part of career development support, we intend to use this opportunity to broaden the horizons of female graduate students by providing various opportunities such as meaningful exchanges and social gatherings with female researchers and other role models who are active in society.
