For mentors outside the university, travel expenses within Japan are subsidized up to a maximum of 15 yen.
If you would like to discuss your situation in more detail, please feel free to contact the support office. We accept consultations via email, phone, or in person by prior appointment.

★What is mentoring?
This involves receiving direct guidance from a mentor (a senior faculty member) regarding educational and research activities and career development.
★What is shadowing?
By accompanying mentors in their daily work and observing communication and decision-making at various levels, participants learn the skills and behavioral norms required of senior researchers.
