What's the work environment like for PhD holders in companies? What kind of career paths are available?
We will be holding a diversity roundtable discussion with researchers working at companies that "want PhDs."
We will invite female researchers and international researchers working at companies to talk about their company's initiatives to promote diversity and their careers as PhD holders.
I'm interested in pursuing a doctoral degree, but... what about my job prospects?
I've heard that more and more companies are welcoming PhD candidates, but I wonder if that's really true?
What kind of environment allows women to continue working? I want to know the real story, not just the convenient advertisements!
