The results of the 19 Hokkaido University entrance examination (first term) have been announced, and 2,104 students have received invitations to the Elm Forest Campus.
Of the successful applicants, 27.4% were women, the highest percentage in the past five years. While the percentage of female faculty members at Hokkaido University is still only 8%, we hope that the energy of the new recruits from FResHU, who will be joining us from April, will help expand the opportunities for women to play an active role at Hokkaido University!
