Hello, this is the Diversity Research Environment Promotion Office (formerly the Women Researchers Support Office), which changed its name in April.

1. Regarding the "Joint Research Grant for Fostering Female Researchers and Research Leaders (KNIT Joint Research Grant)"

With the aim of supporting collaborative research across departments and organizations by providing opportunities for collaborative research to researchers at our university, and fostering human resources through project management experience gained by researchers in managing collaborative research, we have decided to implement the "Collaborative Research Grant for Developing Female Researcher Leaders (KNIT Collaborative Research Grant)" and the "Collaborative Research Grant for Developing Next-Generation Researcher Leaders."
 

The application deadline for all programs is noon on May 18th. Please see each website for details.

2. Announcement of Call for Applications for the Kazuko Takemura Feminism Fund's 2020 Grant Program

The Kazuko Takemura Feminism Fund is a fund established to support researchers and activity groups that conduct research, studies, and activities from the perspective of feminism/gender studies, or women's empowerment and support for women.
The Kazuko Takemura Feminism Foundation has opened applications for its 9th grant program for fiscal year 2020. We encourage you to apply. The deadline is Friday, May 15, 2020.

This is an announcement from the JST Diversity Promotion Office.

We are planning to start accepting applications for the 2nd Annual Award for Outstanding Female Researchers (Jun Ashida Award) from April 1st.

○ Recipients of the award:
▼ Outstanding Female Researcher Award (Female Researchers)
  Generally, under 40 years old (however, periods of inactivity due to life events, etc., will be taken into consideration).
  Any research field is acceptable as long as it is related to science and technology.
▼ Award for Promoting the Success of Outstanding Female Researchers (Institutions)
  An institution that is taking steps to contribute to promoting the active participation of female researchers and serve as a model for other institutions
