The 2020 National Diversity Network Hokkaido Block Meeting and Study Session was held.

On Wednesday, July 29, 2020, the Hokkaido Block Meeting of the 2020 National Diversity Network Organization was held online.

Twenty people from the four universities and two companies participating in the Hokkaido Block Meeting attended, where they shared their business plans for this year, proposed initiatives, and reported on their attendance at the National Network Executive Committee meeting.

Following the conclusion of the meeting, we held a study session for the Hokkaido regional council.
We invited Mr. Taisaku Hashimoto of Inside Work LLC as a lecturer, and he spoke on the topic of "Considering Diversity in Universities," discussing the significance of diversity declarations in universities, key points for organizational promotion aimed at changing awareness, and initiatives for diversity research environments in universities overseas, as well as comparisons with Japan.
During the Q&A session, the challenges actually faced by universities in their initiatives were discussed, and valuable insights were gained for promoting diversity at each institution and overall.
