I participated in the Hakodate International Science Festival: Naruniwa Cafe "What can you do at university? ~In the case of a research-oriented university~"

On August 7th (Friday), I participated in the Naruniwa Cafe at the Hakodate International Science Festival 2020.

The program, titled "What can you do at university? ~In the case of a university focused on research~," featured four female graduate students from our university answering questions from student interviewers at Hakodate Municipal High School.
We recruited participants online in advance, and received applications from all over the country. A wide range of viewers, from junior high school students to parents, participated via Zoom.
The participants asked many questions, which were answered on the spot by the graduate students.

The questions ranged from those about studying for university entrance exams to a variety of other topics, including university life (research, clubs, part-time jobs, etc.), graduate school, and job hunting.
Post-event surveys also showed that many participants found the event helpful in considering their future career paths after high school graduation.
