The Hokkaido University Diversity Research Environment Promotion Office will be holding the KNIT a Network! Researcher Exchange Meeting online (via Zoom).
In this project, we will invite various guests involved in the world of science and research, and through an interview format, they will talk about their lives, work, and other topics. We will also accept questions from participants via chat and email.
For the sixth installment, we will feature Rikako Shirono and Mika Chiwaki, Industry-Academia Collaboration Managers in the Innovation Creation Division of the Industry-Academia-Regional Collaboration Promotion Organization.
This time, we're continuing our series on jobs within universities.
The "Industry-Academia-Regional Collaboration Promotion Organization" plays a vital role in connecting the knowledge generated at universities to industry and ultimately to our daily lives. We welcome two guests who work in this department. Although they work in the same department, their job responsibilities and how they got to where they are today are different. We will hear about their life stories and the industry-academia collaboration work they are currently involved in.
Since it will be held during lunchtime, please feel free to join us.
Researchers and staff affiliated with the KNIT project's partner and collaborating institutions, including our university, as well as faculty, staff, researchers, and graduate students (Master's and Doctoral) of our university are all welcome to participate.
