Hello, this is the Diversity Research Environment Promotion Office.
We are pleased to report that we received a large number of responses to the preliminary survey on awareness regarding the promotion of a diverse research environment, which we requested your cooperation with in the previous issue. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude. Thank you very much.
This preliminary survey of attitudes will be used as a reference for questions in future ongoing surveys and for support provided by the Diversity Research Environment Promotion Office.

1. Announcement of Call for Applications for the 10th (2021) Kazuko Takemura Feminism Fund Grant Program
We have received the above announcement from the Kazuko Takemura Feminist Foundation, and we would like to share it with you.
This fund aims to support research and studies that contribute to feminist/gender studies, or activities conducted from the perspective of women's empowerment and support for women.
We are now accepting applications for research and activities to be eligible for grants in fiscal year 2021.
[Scope of Grant Application]
We provide grants for research and studies that contribute to feminist/gender studies, or activities conducted from the perspective of women's empowerment and support for women.
[Subsidy amount]
We plan to handle several cases per year, with an annual total limit of 3,000,000 yen.
• The maximum application amount per application is 500,000 yen (please note that the final grant amount decided by the review committee may not be the full amount of the application).
