Application Guidelines for Award Candidates
【Effect】
This award was established in 1998 with funds bequeathed by the late Junko Morita, a chemistry educator, with the aim of encouraging research by female scientists specializing in natural sciences and fostering individuals who will contribute to the advancement of science.
【Subjects】
This program targets female scientists under the age of 40 (as of the application deadline) who have achieved outstanding research results in the field of natural science and are expected to contribute to the future development of science.
[Number of Awards Received]
Up to two recipients per year will be awarded a certificate and a prize of 500,000 yen.
【Documents to be submitted】
1. letter of recommendation
2. Resume (with photo attached)
3. List of Research Achievements
4. Up to 5 reprints of major papers, 3 copies each (photocopies are acceptable; reprints will not be returned).
5. A document outlining the research topic, its summary, and future prospects and aspirations (within 2 pages of A4 size).
