Furukawa Auditorium Purple Light-Up

Hokkaido UniversityCabinet Office: "Campaign to Eliminate Violence Against Women"I strongly support this initiative. This time, we will light up the Furukawa Auditorium, a historical building of our university, in purple, the symbolic color of the movement, in order to raise awareness among members of the university community regarding respect for women's human rights and harassment and discriminatory behavior.
At the same time, we will widely distribute leaflets on campus promoting the "Campaign to Eliminate Violence Against Women" to help prevent violence against women and dating violence.

On the first day, we will hold a lighting ceremony, during which students will give short talks on preventing dating violence.
