Thanks to this support, a symposium was held on January 27, 2022, presented by Dr. Naoko Maishi, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, our university.
Below, I will introduce the report.
From planning the research meeting to inviting speakers, making announcements, and holding the event, I was able to proactively manage the process while closely coordinating with the chairpersons and speakers, thereby developing my management and negotiation skills. Furthermore, the speakers were world-class female researchers who have published papers in top-tier journals and work across multiple fields such as cancer and immunology, allowing us to share knowledge and techniques through this research exchange. This research meeting has also led to online meetings with the aim of future collaborative research. I believe it has also contributed to building a network among female researchers, even among the younger to mid-career speakers who had not met each other before.
