The Diversity and Inclusion Promotion Headquarters states:Support Program for Departmental and Organizational Initiatives to Promote Diversity and Inclusion"(Applications for the 2022 academic year are available here.We are implementing the following program. The aim of this program is to deepen the understanding of members of the university community regarding the promotion of a diverse research environment and gender equality among researchers, and we support the implementation of seminars and other events held on campus.

| Message | Everyone has unconscious biases (distortions or biases in their way of seeing and perceiving things that they are unaware of), Unconsciously occurring inappropriate behavior can affect students' decisions regarding higher education and career paths, as well as the promotion of diversity among faculty and staff. In this faculty development program, we have invited Professor Hideya Kitamura of the Department of Social Psychology at Toyo University, who is an expert on unconscious bias and has authored many related books and given numerous lectures. Through lectures on the background and principles, psychological science tests, and group discussions, participants will examine their own unconscious biases and consider ways to address them. |
