Today's announcements include three items, including information about research grants.

1. Applications now open for the Hokkaido University Micron Research Grant for Developing Female Researcher Role Models.

DEIApplications are now being accepted for research grants (up to 30 yen) for female researchers, with a requirement of cooperating with the "Project for Developing and Disseminating Role Models" implemented by the Promotion Headquarters. This grant is open to female researchers excluding professors. While there are no restrictions on research fields, applications from science and engineering fields are particularly encouraged.

2. Announcement of the 1st Nitobe College Mentor Forum for 2022

This is an announcement from Nitobe College.

The 14th (7st of 2022) Nitobe College Mentor Forum, hosted by Hokkaido University's special education program "Nitobe College," will feature seven alumni with extensive international experience who are active in various fields, sharing their career paths and experiences with career changes. The lectures are open to everyone.

3. Open Call for Proposals: Hiratsuka Raicho Prize (Recognition and Research Encouragement)

The Institute for Contemporary Women's Careers at Japan Women's University has announced an awards program and a call for research grants.

This award recognizes and commends (with a prize of 20 yen) and provides research encouragement (10 yen) to students for research and activities related to "Research on Raicho Hiratsuka," "Realizing a Gender-Equal Society," and "World Peace Through Women's Liberation."

Application period: June 1st (Wed) - July 29th (Fri), 2022
