7. Call for participants to view the "Next Generation Leadership Researchers Roundtable II" (July 29th - Re-posted)

The "Next Generation Leadership Roundtable Conference II" is an event organized jointly by Hokkaido University and Kyoto University, where young researchers discuss how to create a better research environment.

This time, the theme is "unconscious bias," and we will re-examine our own awareness and the current state of our research environment, and discuss the challenges and solutions. We are looking for viewers to participate.

2. Lunch Seminar: "Diversity and Inclusion: A Comparison of Japan and Other Countries" (July 20, 27, August 3)

The following seminar will be held, organized by the Institute for Media and Communication Studies:DEIThis project is supported by the Promotion Headquarters.
We are looking for participants.

"I want to create a relaxed atmosphere where people can easily participate while having lunch, and connect with others who share common interests."
The theme of this project is "Diversity and Inclusion: A Comparison of Japan and Other Countries."
We will compare Japan with other countries to identify any unique issues or themes specific to Japan, consider what we can do at Hokkaido University by leveraging initiatives at universities abroad, and discuss what we can learn from the different approaches to diversity and inclusion in various countries.

3. Sumitomo Life's "Childcare Project to Strengthen the Future" is currently accepting applications for support for female researchers.

This research grant is available to researchers in the humanities and social sciences who are raising preschool-aged children.
"Approximately 10 people will receive a maximum of 1 million yen per year for up to two years."
