Today, JST began accepting applications for the second round of the Maria Skłodowska-Curie Prize, a prestigious award for outstanding female researchers that was established last year.

Female researchers (including postdocs), graduate students (doctoral program), and those equivalent to those mentioned above, who have obtained their doctoral degree within approximately five years as of April 1, 2023.
A wide range of research fields related to science and technology

○ Grand Prize Winner (1 person)
Prize money: 100 yen
Supplementary prize: Expenses for travel to Poland and a visit to research institutions, etc. (Stay will be approximately two weeks; travel is planned for autumn 2023).
○ Encouragement Award: 2 recipients
Prize money: 50 yen each
