We have three announcements for today.

11. (November 7) D&I Lecture by the Gender Equality Promotion Office of Hokkaido University Hospital

The Gender Equality Promotion Office at Hokkaido University Hospital will be hosting a lecture on diversity.
In this lecture, we will consider why it is necessary to recognize and address unconscious bias.
The discussion will involve considering unconscious biases in various everyday situations, comparing your own perspective with those of others.

Two.DEIBook exhibition project (North Library) - The theme will change.

A joint project with the university library: "Diversity and Inclusion Book Exhibition"
The exhibition is currently being held at the North Library, but the theme of the exhibited books will change from November 1st.

3. (Until 10/31) Final Request - Basic Survey on D&I Awareness and Recognition

We are conducting a preliminary survey to evaluate the extent to which our university has the necessary foundation to promote diversity and inclusion, and to identify any shortcomings or challenges.

The deadline has been extended to October 31st (Monday) and the campaign is currently underway.

We would like to hear more opinions from people within the university, so if you haven't responded yet, please do so.
Also, please feel free to reach out to anyone in the area.
