Hokkaido UniversityCabinet Office: "Campaign to Eliminate Violence Against Women"I strongly support this initiative. Following last year's efforts, we will once again light up the Furukawa Auditorium, a historic building on our university campus, in purple, the symbolic color of the movement, to raise awareness among university members regarding respect for women's human rights and harassment and discriminatory behavior.
Regarding the light-up event, a lighting ceremony will be held, during which students will give a short talk on preventing dating violence.
