The "Disaster Recovery Landscape" proposal presentation meeting, which aims to create a resilient society after disasters and design the Kitashiribeshi Action Code, was held on February 10, 2023 (Friday) in the Yoichi Town Hall conference room, with funding from the Diversity and Inclusion Promotion Headquarters, and concluded successfully.

In the first part, the "Disaster Recovery Landscape" proposal presentation, a package model for a "Disaster Recovery Landscape" that would lead the recovery of the five towns and villages in the northern Shiribeshi region after a disaster was proposed to the five towns and companies.
According to this proposal, the "disaster recovery landscape" is designed to enhance the social capital of the region. Going forward, the plan is to commercialize content that meets the highest demand.

In the second part, the "4th Kitashiribeshi Wide-Area Disaster Prevention Collaboration Project Workshop," five towns and villages participating in the Kitashiribeshi Wide-Area Disaster Prevention Collaboration Project, along with two companies and student teams, held a workshop titled "Designing the Kitashiribeshi Action Code," connecting the physical venue and online participants.
This workshop allowed the five towns and villages to exchange and share their respective visions for a better recovery in Northern Shiribeshi, which would be beneficial in both normal times and during disasters.

Furthermore, a "workshop using diorama models" was proposed as a method for building consensus related to disaster recovery.

This research meeting revealed new possibilities beyond disaster recovery research, including the commercialization of projects and the development of consensus-building methods.

The presentation was streamed live from Yoichi Town using HiFlex.
