This event focuses on the daily life of a graduate student, offering a glimpse into what university life is like.
For details about the project, please see "24 Hours with a University Student" .
I've filmed an interview that will be broadcast on the program, so here's my report.
A University Student's 24 Hours (1) Ai Iwai
Iwai belongs to an engineering research lab.
Whenever I meet Ms. Iwai, she's always smiling brightly.
The research lab is predominantly male.
I was struck by how happily she was talking with her teacher, Mr. Kikuchi.
He loves research and seems to have a lot of trust in Professor Kikuchi.

Here are some photos from the filming.
Professor Kikuchi and Ms. Iwai appeared to be in a friendly mood throughout.

This is Mr. Iwai's experimental space.
Iwai, a doctoral student, has her own dedicated space, providing an environment where she can fully immerse herself in her experiments.
Iwai's experiments require essential skills, but they are not easily mastered by the average person.
spilled stories
Besides Ms. Iwai, the research lab also includes graduate students, and from December of their third year, undergraduate students will also be members.
It was thesis season for graduate students (master's program).
The wonderful and supportive Iwai-san brought a treat as a token of appreciation for her hard-working junior colleagues.

The feeling was contagious, and sweets continued to be brought in one after another!
It was a warm and welcoming research lab.

A University Student's 24 Hours (2): Aoi Sugiyama
Ms. Sugiyama is affiliated with the Faculty of Science.
Ms. Sugiyama has the image of a calm and mature older sister.
I see, the research lab seems to have more women than men at first glance.
It's a completely different impression from Iwai's research lab.

Everyone is in the middle of writing their graduation theses.
I'm sorry for intruding.
Mr. Sugiyama also had his own experimental space.

Because they also stock a large quantity of medicines, everything was neatly organized.
It perfectly suits Mr. Sugiyama's image.
Photo taken by Ms. Sugiyama and her supervising teacher, Mr. Oze.
I'm currently having a meeting with our director, Fujii, before filming begins.

Professor Oze is a very calm teacher.
They listen carefully to each and every request from Director Fujii.
Mr. Sugiyama also seems a little nervous?
Sugiyama's research topic is difficult to visualize and therefore difficult to present in a tangible form.
We took the photos in advance.

This research lab even has a lounge!
It's neatly and tidied up, and looks like a very comfortable place to live.
Here, we all have a lively lunch and snack time...
looks fun!

In this episode, we'll show you many glimpses of university research labs that you wouldn't normally get to see.
This time we showed you the interview filming process,
I've asked Ms. Iwai and Ms. Sugiyama to take selfies of their daily lives.
We'll introduce you to university life, science and engineering research, and more, along with some fun conversation.
Please take a look!
