Henkel has announced that it is now accepting nominations for the third annual Martha Schwarzkopf Women in Science Award. The award aims to support women scientists. In addition to the main award (Grand Prize and Excellence Award) which recognizes long-standing achievements in hair science, this year will also see the awarding of an "Emerging Talent" prize to promising new talent.
【Subjects】
・Martha Schwarzkopf Award: Female researchers from around the world with doctoral degrees and extensive experience in the fields of natural science, medicine, and computer science.
• Emerging Talents Award: Awarded to female researchers who have completed a master's program in the relevant research field.
・Specific research fields: In addition to hair research, related fields such as textile and wool fiber research, analysis of biological surfaces, and interactions between hair, scalp, and substances
(Female researchers who are particularly interested in researching hair fibers and hair surfaces)
[Others]
・Winners will receive a cash prize and will be invited to an award ceremony held in conjunction with the ever-expanding Martha Schwarzkopf Hair Research Network academic conference.
The awards ceremony will be held in Germany at the end of the third quarter of 2024.
・All winners will have the opportunity to participate in a mentorship program led by Henkel scientists.
