The 132nd Annual Meeting of the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan (Sapporo) will feature a symposium titled "Career Development for Women in Pharmaceutical Sciences: How to Shine in Academia, Industry, and the World."
This event will feature a series of lectures introducing role models of female pharmaceutical researchers who are active in various career paths, including academia and industry. A panel discussion will then take place, involving the speakers and the audience, to discuss what is necessary and effective for the continued success of women, and whether promoting the advancement of female researchers is even necessary in the first place.
Men are also welcome to participate.
