1. Call for applications for the 2024 "Support Program for Holding Career Events for Female Undergraduates and Graduate Students"
Diversity and Inclusion Promotion Headquarters (DEIThe Promotion Headquarters is working to support the career development of young researchers, including doctoral students, with the goal of "nurturing female researcher leaders who are aligned with each individual's ambition."
This support program provides partial funding for expenses related to seminars and other events aimed at providing female undergraduate and graduate students with opportunities to consider their own career development and encouraging women to pursue doctoral studies.

2. Information about the 7th Caterpillar STEM Award
This is an announcement from Caterpillar Inc. regarding open calls for applications in the general and student categories.
This award was established by Caterpillar Inc. to support the research of young female researchers in STEM fields who will shape the future, and to provide student support to foster innovation for the future.
Last year, Associate Professor Kaori Shigetomi of the Graduate School Education Promotion Organization at our university received the top prize in the "General Category" of this award. For the "Student Category," in addition to individual applications by female students, groups led by females (mixed-gender groups are also eligible) are also eligible to apply.
Recruitment period: July 1st (Monday) to October 31st (Thursday), 2024
