Seminar Announcement: "Harnessing Teacher Shortages and Diversifying the Teaching Workforce through the Use of Immigrant Teachers" (Held on September 27th)

The Diversity and Inclusion Promotion Headquarters states:Support Program for Departmental and Organizational Initiatives to Promote Diversity and Inclusion"(Applications for the 2024 academic year are available here.We are implementing the following program. The aim of this program is to create opportunities for members of the university community to further deepen their understanding of diversity promotion, and it will be held on campus.DEIWe provide financial support for the costs of conducting seminars and other related events.
 
Thanks to this support, a seminar hosted by the International Education Research Department of the Institute for the Advancement of Higher Education at our university will be held on Friday, September 27th. Please see the details below.

Prior to the lecture, Professor Eisuke Saito (Monash University, Australia) will give an overview of the state of education and teacher training in Australia.
Language The lecture will be given in English.
The lecture will be given in English, but a brief explanation in Japanese will be provided.
