This is an announcement regarding the "Kao Crescent Scholarship," a scholarship program for fostering female researchers, offered by the Kao Arts and Science Foundation.

The Kao Foundation for Arts and Sciences will implement a support program for female researchers to improve the current situation in Japan where the proportion of female researchers in the fields of chemistry and physics is low compared to other countries. The aim is to contribute to the development and improvement of Japan's science and technology field by supporting young female researchers who have the potential to contribute to the future research and development of the fields of chemistry and physics in Japan. Selected recipients will receive 400,000 yen for three years (minimum completion period), totaling 1,200,000 yen.
