1. Call for applications for the "Support Personnel Support Program for Balancing Research Activities and Life Events" for the second semester of FY2025.
This support program aims to help researchers at this university, whose time dedicated to their work decreases due to life events such as childbirth, childcare, and elder care, to balance their research activities with these life events and smoothly carry out their duties by providing assistance for the employment costs of research support personnel.
Those wishing to apply should carefully read the application guidelines and submit their application form to the administrative staff of their respective department or division. The deadline for submission to headquarters is July 30th (Wednesday), but the deadline for submission to administrative staff of each department or division may differ. Please check with your respective department or division.

2. Announcement of the public symposium "Considering Diversity in Science: For Choosing Your Own Path and Career Path"
This is an announcement for the public symposium "Considering Diversity in Science: For Choosing Your Own Path and Career," hosted by the Science Council of Japan.
Date and Time: Saturday, October 4th, 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM (Online)
Target audience: High school students, preparatory school students, teachers, parents, university research and education personnel, and anyone else is welcome to participate.

3. Call for Nominations for the "Sumitomo Life Insurance Women Researchers Encouragement Award"
Sumitomo Life Insurance is pleased to announce the "Sumitomo Life Women Researchers Encouragement Award."
Award details: Sumitomo Life Insurance Women Researchers Encouragement Award - Approximately 10 recipients / Up to 1 million yen per year for up to two years.
Target audience: Female researchers who find it difficult to continue their research due to childcare responsibilities, and female researchers who are continuing their research while raising children (other requirements apply).
Application period: Must arrive between July 7th (Monday) and September 8th (Monday), 2025
