*As of 2024, we do not have toner cartridge collection boxes installed.
On Monday, November 10, 2008, we held a toner recycling event at the Institute of Low Temperature Science.
One support staff member and one member from the university cooperative toured each floor of the Low Temperature Research Institute and collected used toner cartridges from each research lab.
In about an hour and a half, we collected eight toner cartridges and a total of 60 cartridges.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the administrative staff and laboratory members of the Institute of Low Temperature Science for their cooperation.
The toner cartridges collected this time will be responsibly converted into Bellmarks by the Women Researchers Support Office, with the cooperation of the cooperative.
We plan to use the converted Bell Marks, along with the points we have accumulated so far, to purchase science experiment equipment and donate it to junior high and high schools in Hokkaido.
The next place we will be visiting is the Department of Health Sciences/Graduate School of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine (Monday, November 17th).
*Toner cartridge collection boxes are permanently located at the Hokkaido University Co-op.
Also, please contact us anytime and we'll come and pick it up for you.
