The KDDI Foundation and Hokkaido University are co-hosting an event: a science experiment workshop titled "Let's Repair Damaged Information - The Mathematics of Coding Theory" (for junior high school students) on Saturday, December 13th.
Our modern lives utilize a variety of communication technologies, such as messaging and QR code payments.
While some data may be altered due to noise or other factors during the communication process, measures are in place to detect errors and restore the original content.
In this event, you will learn about the mathematical mechanisms of error correction codes through a number guessing game using binary numbers.
This event is limited to 15 people.
