2. (Repost) International Symposium ~Learning from the University of Oulu, Finland, the Happiest Country in the World~ Announcement of "The Current State and Future Prospects of Gender" in Finnish and Japanese Academia (12/16)
We will be holding an international symposium to explore the current state and future prospects of gender in academia in Finland and Japan.
At the University of Oulu in Finland and in the EUDEILearn from their efforts,DEIWe will share the significance of this initiative and the challenges for the future. We hope to share the learning experiences that will lead to significant changes toward a better educational and research environment with a wide range of students and faculty members.
*This event will be held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and webinar sessions.
*Simultaneous interpretation available
*Participation in only a portion of the session, such as the morning or afternoon, is also possible.

3. Childcare support during the Common University Entrance Examination
To alleviate the childcare burden on faculty and staff who work on holidays due to university entrance examination-related duties, and to create an environment where faculty and staff can perform at their best, we will provide free childcare support, "Babysitting Childcare Support (Special Support for Entrance Examination Duties)," on the day of the Common University Entrance Examination (starting this year, temporary childcare support at on-campus childcare facilities will not be provided). Advance application is required to use this service. Please check the details page for more information.

DEIThe Promotion Headquarters has published Newsletter No. 11. The featured article in No. 11 is "Balancing Life Events such as Childbirth, Childcare, and Eldercare with Research."
