March 8th is International Women's Day. "HAPPY WOMAN FESTA 2026" events are being held all over Japan this year, and in Sapporo, various programs will be held on Friday, March 20th, as "HAPPY WOMAN FESTA 2026 HOKKAIDO".
At the Chikaho venue, two teams composed of students from our university will participate in the "HAPPY WOMAN University Student Summit," just as they did last year.
The theme is "Period to Future ~Thinking about our future from the perspective of menstruation~". Menstruation is still a difficult topic to talk about.
University students, who will shape the future, will confront the real challenges of menstruation and present their ideal solutions. Moving beyond the topic of being "difficult to talk about," this event is about thinking together about what will be "normal" in the future.
