Hokkaido University DEIWe have created a guidebook on public relations expression and accessibility.

Hokkaido UniversityDEIWe have created a "Public Relations Expression and Accessibility Guidebook."

Hokkaido University must be careful to ensure that the information it disseminates to domestic and international audiences, as well as the expressions used in its media, do not promote discrimination or prejudice, or impose stereotypes.
Therefore, with the aim of each of us becoming aware of our own unconscious discrimination and prejudice, understanding 'diversity and inclusion,' and reflecting this in our creative works, we have decided to launch this initiative.DEIWe have created a "Public Relations Expression and Accessibility Guidebook."

This guidebook covers all forms of communication disseminated by the university, including its website, brochures, internal newsletters, SMN (Social Media Network), email, presentations at lectures and other events, and interpersonal communication within the university. It provides practical and useful examples of things to consider when creating such communications and expressions to avoid, along with specific examples.

We hope that this will be widely read and useful for all members of our university community, including those involved in public relations and event management, as well as those who create various documents.
Please use all means.
