On Sunday, May 17, 2026, Muroran Institute of Technology, Hokkaido University Faculty of Engineering, and Kitami Institute of Technology, three national universities in Hokkaido, will hold "Go Forward, Science and Engineering Girls! 2026 ~The Day to Find the Me Who Designs the Future~ - Kitami Institute of Technology x Hokkaido University Faculty of Engineering x Muroran Institute of Technology Talk Session-Style Information Session -" at the Kita 3-jo Intersection Plaza (West) in the Sapporo Station Underground Pedestrian Space (Chikaho).
What is daily life like for female science students? Why did they choose to pursue science? Where can they find employment? Current female students, graduates, and female faculty members will share their honest opinions on these and other questions. Each university's booth will have a space where you can easily drop in for advice on further education. Faculty members and current female students will talk about real campus life, including student life, employment, and club activities. We will also be holding a workshop, "Let's Make an Original Aroma Mist!", where you can experience the fun of chemistry through "scent."
This event is perfect not only for those who aspire to work in science and engineering fields, but also for anyone who is unsure about their career path or has even a slight interest in science and engineering.
