"Let's learn more about science using Hokkaido University's Bell Marks!" Science supplies were donated to Ashibetsu High School.

The Hokkaido University Women Researchers Support Office's "Let's Learn More About Science Using Hokkaido University's Bell Marks!" project solicited and reviewed applications from schools wishing to receive donations in fiscal year 7, and selected Hokkaido Ashibetsu High School to receive science supplies. Due to problems with the supplier, delivery was delayed by nearly six months, but we were finally able to deliver the supplies on July 11, 2013.

We donated two items to Ashibetsu High School: a telescope set (with a solar projection screen) and a device for observing the movement of the sun.

We immediately assembled the telescope in the science lab and tried projecting an image of the sun.
