*As of 2024, we do not have toner cartridge collection boxes installed.
This report concerns the on-site collection of used toner cartridges at the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Dentistry.
2008
●Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Wednesday, November 26th)
We collected a total of 58 toner cartridges and 49 other cartridges.
There were a lot of toner cartridges accumulated in each room, and we were able to collect them from a great many laboratories.
●Faculty of Dentistry (Wednesday, December 3rd)
We collected a total of 26 toner cartridges and 191 other cartridges.
The dental school has a designated storage space for used toner cartridges in the printing room, and we were able to collect a very large quantity.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the researchers in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Faculty of Dentistry for their cooperation.
I would also like to express my gratitude to the administrative staff who contacted the professors in each research lab in advance.
The toner cartridges collected this time, specifically those manufactured by Epson and Canon, will be responsibly converted into Bellmark points by the Women Researchers Support Office, with the cooperation of Hokkaido University Co-op.
We plan to use the converted Bell Marks, along with the points we have accumulated so far, to purchase science experiment equipment and donate it to junior high and high schools in Hokkaido.
Products from other manufacturers are handed over to recycling companies.
Our next planned visit will be to the Faculty of Science (December 8th, 11th, 15th, and 18th, starting at 3:00 PM).
*Collection boxes for Epson and Canon toner cartridges are permanently located at the Hokkaido University Co-op.
Also, please contact us anytime and we'll come and pick it up for you.
