I would like to inform you that a symposium to support the further success of female doctors will be held in Tokyo, as detailed below.

Currently, approximately one-third of medical students are women, and it is expected that female doctors will play an increasingly important role in the medical field in the future. The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare is considering how to create an environment in which female doctors can thrive according to their life stage, and will be holding the following symposium to welcome female doctors who are active in the medical and healthcare fields and to support their further success.
