This program is for female faculty members and female postdoctoral researchers affiliated with Hokkaido University.
We will be accepting applications for the second half of the "Research Support Personnel During Maternity/Childcare Leave Period, etc., FY27" program.
For details, please refer to the application guidelines below. Those wishing to receive support should submit their application form to the relevant department's office.
The eligibility requirements for support are as follows:
Female faculty members and female postdoctoral researchers at this university who meet any of the following criteria
(1) Persons who are planning to take maternity leave before or after childbirth during this fiscal year
(2) Persons who are planning to take childcare leave or family care leave during this fiscal year
(3) Childcare while working (up to the third grade of elementary school) other than the above leave or time off.

However, if the applicant is a specially appointed faculty member, postdoctoral researcher, or a researcher affiliated with JSPS or similar organizations who conducts research activities based at this university, the decision to provide support will be made after considering their individual employment conditions and circumstances.
In addition, the same consideration will be given to whether or not to provide support to other individuals who have been recognized as eligible by the Office for Supporting Female Researchers.
Furthermore, the support office is always available to answer questions about this support, regardless of the application period. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the support office.
*Please note that from this time forward, the applicant will be the person receiving support, not the head of the research lab. (However, a confirmation stamp is required.)
