◆Applied Animal Behavior Society Summer School in Sapporo
Career development and work-life balance for female researchers in the field of applied animal behavior.
Many female researchers will participate in and present their research at ISAE, which will be held in September this year.
At our Applied Animal Behavior Society's Spring Research Presentation, we also had many female students, as well as women's research groups.
While researchers do publish their findings, the proportion is currently low compared to other countries.
In Japan as a whole, there are few female researchers, and supporting them and developing the necessary systems is a major challenge.
However, we have never had such a discussion at the Japanese Society for Applied Animal Behavior.
As part of the summer school program, this meeting will feature two speakers on the above-mentioned topic.
I would like to discuss career development and work-life balance for female researchers.
I believe.
Date and time: Sunday, September 13, 2015, 16:00-17:30
Location: Lecture Room S31, Faculty of Agriculture, Hokkaido University
