Booth recruitment for the event "Fun Science - Let's Learn About Various Sciences" for junior and senior high school girls.

Outreach event for junior and senior high school girls: [Science Support Caravan Team] July 17

The Human Resources Development Headquarters of Hokkaido University applied for and was selected for the "JST Support Project for Female Junior and Senior High School Students Choosing Science and Engineering Careers" this fiscal year. Our organization, FResHU, is at the heart of this project, and our motivation for undertaking it is our desire to increase the number of women pursuing science and engineering fields, thereby contributing to an increase in the proportion of female researchers.

We are looking for groups to set up a science experiment and experience booth for junior and senior high school girls as part of the "Hokkaido University Science Support Caravan Team" at the first event listed below. This is a great opportunity for faculty and students to use as an introduction to outreach activities and to directly promote their majors and research labs to junior and senior high school girls. It's in the middle of a long holiday weekend, but the "Science Support Caravan Team" activities are fun for both visitors and exhibitors, so please contact us if you are interested!
