Hokkaido University Science and Engineering Support Caravan Team at Kawaijuku Sapporo School

On June 19th (Sunday), the "Science Support Caravan Team" set up an experimental booth at the "Hokkaido University Charm Discovery Festa," an event organized by Kawaijuku. The Science Support Caravan Team is a group of graduate students mainly from various science and engineering faculties, and they set up experimental booths at events and hold discussion sessions with junior and senior high school students who are interested in science. Their activities are aimed at "conveying the fun of science" and "supporting junior and senior high school students in pursuing science-related fields."

This event was organized by Kawaijuku and primarily targeted high school students interested in Hokkaido University. The caravan team set up 15 experimental booths. A roundtable discussion was also held with female science students, where they talked about choosing a science-related career path and student life. The event was very lively, with around 500 attendees, and both the caravan team members and the participating high school students seemed to enjoy the experiments together.
