The Women Researchers Support Office, with the cooperation of the Hokkaido University Co-op, collects used Canon and Epson printer toner and ink cartridges, converts them into Bell Marks, and uses the proceeds to donate science experiment supplies to junior and senior high schools.

Up until now, we have visited each research lab as an event or temporarily placed collection boxes to ask for everyone's cooperation, but this year we have decided to permanently install boxes for collection, and we have started by installing boxes in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Graduate School of Environmental Science.

We also collect and recycle toner cartridges from manufacturers other than Canon and Epson.

Have you ever been unsure where to dispose of toner cartridges when cleaning your lab?

Please make use of the box.

The installation locations are the 1st-floor lobby and the 2nd-floor lobby of the Research Center for Zoonosis Control in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and the 1st-floor corridor of Building B (next to the trash cans) in the Graduate School of Environmental Science.

We will be installing these in other faculties as well, so we would appreciate your cooperation!
