An event for junior and senior high school girls will be held on Sunday, July 17th."Enjoy Science! ~Let's Learn About Various Sciences~"
We held this event. The purpose of this event was to encourage junior and senior high school girls to consider a career in science and engineering and what lies beyond, by allowing them to experience many of the science and engineering research projects actually being conducted at Hokkaido University and to learn about the diverse lifestyles of senior female researchers who can serve as role models.
The event featured 15 experimental experience booths run by students and faculty members under the name "Hokkaido University Science Support Caravan Team," as well as lectures by female researchers on research and careers. A total of 341 people attended (112 of whom were adults), and all the booths were bustling with activity until closing time.
