The "Shine, Female Researchers! Take Root, Bloom, and Bear Fruit @ Hokkaido University" project, which started in July as part of the Science and Technology Promotion Coordination Fund, will promote the "F3 Project," a positive action initiative for hiring female faculty members, with the aim of increasing the number of female faculty members in the fields of science, engineering, and agriculture. We will also support female faculty members already at Hokkaido University so that they can play an even more active role. [Eligibility] Female full-time faculty members (associate professors, lecturers, or assistant professors; professors are not eligible) in the fields of science, engineering, or agriculture (*).
*As a general rule, this applies to female full-time faculty members (excluding professors) belonging to the following departments of this university. However, those in other departments who are included in the science, engineering, or agriculture fields in the faculty statistics survey are also eligible, so please contact us for more information.

★F3-STS: Skill-Up Technical Support
[Eligible Participants] All female faculty members, researchers, female graduate students, and female undergraduate students affiliated with this university, primarily in the fields of science, engineering, and agriculture. (However, eligibility may be limited by field or status depending on the content of the seminar, etc.)
[Support Details] We will hold seminars and workshops to help improve research skills. We will also create opportunities for you to meet mentors through these seminars and workshops. We will also respond to requests such as "I would like to hear from this person" or "I would like you to hold a workshop like this," so please contact the Women Researchers Support Office.
