Support for research assistants during maternity/childcare leave, etc.
Applications are now being accepted for the second half of fiscal year 28 for the "Research Assistant Personnel Support During Maternity and Childcare Leave," a program that partially subsidizes the costs of employing research assistants to help female faculty members and postdoctoral researchers balance childbirth, childcare, elder care, etc., with their research activities.
Once childcare begins, it becomes difficult to secure the same amount of time for experiments and research as before. By hiring research assistants to handle tasks such as data collection, processing, and supporting experiments, it becomes possible to maintain fulfilling educational and research activities even within limited time.
The application forms will be compiled by the departmental administrative offices and sent to the Women Researchers Support Office by August 16th. Therefore, the deadline for each department is expected to be set around the second week of August. Please fill out your application form as soon as possible!
Furthermore, the contents of the application guidelines for the first semester of fiscal year 28 are as follows:The parts that have changed significantlyThere are some changes. Please check the "Main Changes" section on our website.
