On November 29th (Tuesday) at 12:00, we held a research presentation session in English. The session served as both an opportunity to improve English presentation skills and to exchange research ideas. The presenter this time was Kyoko Chiba, a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. As practice for a presentation at an American university, she gave an excellent presentation titled "Research on Vesicular Transport in Neuronal Axons." In a friendly atmosphere, the instructor gave a wealth of eye-opening advice, including suggestions on slide structure and how to incorporate gestures into the presentation! It was a very worthwhile time.
FResHU will be holding four more research presentation sessions in English this year. These sessions offer the best of both worlds: practice in English presentations and discussions, interdisciplinary research exchange, and information sharing among female researchers. If you have an upcoming presentation at an international conference, please consider submitting your presentation. Dates and times will be set to suit the presenter's schedule.
