The Office for Supporting Female Researchers is running a "Support Program for Female Junior and Senior High School Students Choosing STEM Career Paths," and will be holding approximately four experimental workshop-style events from September to December. We are looking for individuals who can serve as instructors for these events.
Participants are recruited for each session, so junior and senior high school girls who are strongly interested in the content of that particular session will participate. They often give very fresh and engaging responses, which is enjoyable for the instructors, and it also serves as a valuable record for outreach activities. Some people may think, "I'm interested, but that kind of thing seems difficult in my field," but in that case, please feel free to discuss the content with us. There are definitely junior and senior high school students who will be interested.
We regret that we cannot provide honorariums to the participating instructors for this type of project, but we would appreciate your consideration. (It can also be held at locations other than the Sapporo campus!)
