The Gender Equality Committees of the Iron and Steel Institute of Japan and the Japan Institute of Metals, which are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, will hold a 10th Anniversary Symposium at Hokkaido University on Saturday, September 9, 2017!
The theme is "Considering the advancement of women and the promotion of diversity in companies and universities."
There will be a lecture by Miki Haseyama, head of the Office for Supporting Female Researchers, as well as presentations on promoting diversity by Calbee Co., Ltd., which is active in Hokkaido, and JFE Steel Corporation, a steel materials manufacturer!
