Announcement of the first "Meet the FResHU" role model roundtable discussion

The first session of the series will be held on Tuesday, January 30th at 11:1 AM in the conference room of the General Research Building on the Central Campus!

To support the career development of female students and researchers, we will be holding a role model roundtable discussion, "Meet the FResHU," inviting female faculty members from within the university as guests to talk about their research and career paths.
You can hear about things you wouldn't normally hear in a research presentation in a specialized field, such as the reasons why they arrived at their research field and their actual lifestyle, as well as various issues that women face, all in a relaxed atmosphere.
It will be held during lunchtime, so why not enjoy a fun exchange of information while eating your lunch?

Introduction of the speaker for today's presentation

This is Associate Professor Yoko Mitani from the Ecosystem Change Analysis Division at the Hakodate Marine Biological Station, Aquatic Station, Northern Biosphere Field Science Center!
The theme is "Supporting Female Researchers"
Here is a comment from Professor Mitani.
There are many reasons why women, not just female researchers, don't have to continue working. So why do they continue? I'd like to discuss various aspects of whether they want to continue, or whether they are able to continue.
