We held the second "Meet the FResHU" role model roundtable discussion.

We held the second "Meet the FResHU" role model discussion on February 27th.

Our speaker for this presentation was Professor Maho Amano, Research Administrator at the URA Station, Research Promotion Hub, Headquarters for Strengthening University Capabilities.

Seven people from within the university, including female researchers, academic fellows, and undergraduate students, participated and spoke about career paths for doctoral graduates.
We were introduced to the career path of URA (University Research Administrator), which is not limited to working in one's research field. Participants raised concerns and differences in career paths between humanities and science fields, and a variety of information was exchanged from different perspectives.
Furthermore, songs depicting the poignant realities of part-time lecturers were introduced, and the participants seemed endlessly captivated by the professor's engaging presentation style.

Thank you very much to Professor Amano for his presentation, and to everyone who participated.
The third event is scheduled for Friday, March 23rd. We look forward to seeing you there!
