If you want to hear valuable insights from senior female teachers, join the role model roundtable "Meet the FResHU"! It will be held on Friday, October 19th.

"Meet the FResHU" is a role model roundtable discussion featuring female faculty members from across the university, where they share their research and career journeys. We support the career development of female students and researchers!

  • Career histories of female researchers
  • Reasons for arriving at this research field
  • What's their actual lifestyle like?

You can ask questions that might be difficult to ask during research presentations in specialized fields, and freely exchange opinions with other participants!

Our guest this time is...

Department of Drug Discovery Science, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences
Field of Biomedical Sciences
This is Assistant Professor Saori Haneda!

The theme isA way of life that doesn't leave the negative aspects of each stage unaddressed.
Let's use what's available to us correctly and achieve results!

Here is a comment from Professor Haneda.
"Thanks to the struggles and efforts of my predecessors during a time when being a female researcher was a disadvantage, there are now more research grants and systems available that are specifically for young researchers, for women, and for those who have given birth. Even if you're not a superwoman who can handle work, childcare, and housework all at once, I've continued my research in my own way and at my own pace, with the attitude of greedily utilizing whatever resources are available to me. I hope we can all think together about ways to prevent the negative aspects from remaining negative."
