Hello, this is Kato from the Women Researchers Support Office. Yesterday was my child's last day of kindergarten. It's the season of farewells and new beginnings as the fiscal year ends and the new year begins. I look forward to working with you all again in April.

1. Notice of the start of all university-wide classes for the 31 academic year.
The university-wide course "Career Design for Researchers: Learning about Future Choices from Real-World Researcher Examples" will begin on Tuesday, April 9th.

2. Announcement of Research Grants from the North Tech Foundation
We are planning to announce the call for applications for projects to be funded by the North Tech Foundation's Research and Development Grant Program for fiscal year 2019.
We encourage young researchers and industry-academia-government collaborative research groups to consider applying. *The application guidelines and forms will be posted on the foundation's website around early April, and printed application guides will be distributed around mid-April.

3. Announcement of the 8th Grant Program of the Kazuko Takemura Feminism Fund
We have received notification from the Kazuko Takemura Feminist Foundation that applications for their 2019 grant program have opened, and we would like to share this information with you.
This fund was established with the aim of providing grants to research and activities conducted from the perspective of feminist/gender studies, or grant empowerment and support for women.
The deadline is May 17th. Please see below for details.
